The transfer topic is not, however, contained just in borders as
lines on a map. In this territory of the North Bohemian region, acted
a series of once-forgotten personalities who completes the plastic atmos-
phere of everyday life in this complicated area. No less important topic of
historicity of memory and its temporary loss due to sudden uprooting is
the theme greatly accentuated at the exhibition, which is supported and
visualized by negative image of wrecked buildings, streets, neighbour-
hoods and even the entire cities. The actual exhibition and accompany-
ing catalogue is therefore trying to refill the white spots on printed maps
and mind maps and give a chance to current inhabitants of this region to
find the new ideas for fixing their own existence.
